Bakland Wild Abodes
Our high-performance modular cabins are designed to take on the
harshest conditions and win.
Our high-performance modular cabins are designed to take on the
harshest conditions and win.
We’re inspired by wild experiences and the tension that exists between the inside and out. We live for that moment, when the door shuts behind you and the howling winds and driving rain are exchanged for warmth and comfort.
With intelligent design and a deeper understanding of the logistics involved, a Bakland cabin can reach the places others can’t – each one comes factory assembled, fully fitted and made for easy transport and placement anywhere in the UK, Europe and beyond!

Bigger is better – this roomy, one-bed Refuge Max cabin is our modern take on an alpine refuge with a more classic rustic look. The big brother to our classic Refuge cabin, you’ll enjoy the benefit of its separate bedroom and generous living space, designed with our trademark smart compact layout. It’s available on a chassis, with or without wheels, depending on your needs. Designed specifically for the UK and mainland Europe, as the pitched roof requires it to be transported on the bed of a lorry.

Small but mighty – this one bed, micro cabin is our modern take on an alpine refuge. It’s available on a chassis, with or without wheels, depending on your needs. Designed specifically for the UK and mainland Europe, as the pitched roof requires it to be transported on the bed of a lorry.

Larger cabins are traditionally more difficult to transport – but not ours. The Frey Max offers much more space, but its clever design means it’s made to get to travel. Our larger twin unit concept sleeps up to 4 (one double and optional bunks in two bedrooms), but comes in two sections, each of which fits into their own shipping rack for easy shipping from Immingham to the Faroe Islands, Iceland, Greenland, USA, South Atlantic.
